Chocolate Peanut butter Coconut Crispies.

A healthier than average treat, as you will not find any e-numbers, additives, or artificial colours in here. However, be aware of the fat content.

  • 100g chocolate 72 % or 85% (I used 72%)
  • 60g crunchy peanut butter (no added sugar)
  • 60g coconut oil
  • 70g desiccated coconut
  • 2 drops of Peppermint+ Young Living essential oil (optional) OR 2 drops of Thieves+ Young Living essential oil)

Melt the chocolate, peanut butter, and coconut oil in a metal or glass bowl over a sauce pan with boiling water in.

Children will love licking the peanut butter spoon.

When it’s all melted, remove from the heat, add the essential oil and add the desiccated coconut, mixing well. Pour it into chocolate molds. (see picture below. You can get a variety of shapes and sizes. I have also used silicone cupcake molds as a substitute, they just take longer to set because they are bigger.)

Place them in the fridge to chill for at least 1-2 hours. Enjoy with friends and family – or save them for little moments of self-care for yourself.
