21 DAYS TO BUILD A NEW HABIT (parenting or otherwise)
DAY 12
LET FEAR BE YOUR ACCOUNTABILITY BUDDY.
Book in for something and then freak out about it.
For example, if your new habit is running and you have an aim to run a marathon one day in the future, join up for one and then invite all your friends and family to cheer you on with signs and pom poms. Setting a date gives you a goal and a deadline.

There is no better accountability buddy than fear of public humiliation. Use this to spur you on and keep you motivated to work on this every day.
Get yourself ready!
This could work for anything like running a race, singing publicly, taking part in a competition, doing an art show, publishing your book, entering a pie eating competition…(not sure about that one….but you get my drift)
See you tomorrow for day 13!
P.S. Are you still repeating your mantra/affirmation a million times a day? Keep up the good work!
Write what your new habit is in the comments below.
